“Reflective Black” Air Jordan Future

Jordan Brand is releasing its newest colorway for the understated Future. The shoe – constructed from a black reflective 3M mesh upper, nylon mesh sockliner, waxed cotton laces and finished with gold tips. A perfect ice blue outsole paying homage to the coveted Concord Jordan XI. The “Reflective Black” Air Jordan Future is was available at select Nike shops.

"Iguana" Air Jordan Future

Jordan Brand’s soon-to-be-released Iguana Air Jordan Future model sees a new iteration with the impending release of this colourway. The upscale design is presented in a woven olive-drab upper, with a contrasting white midsole. The shoe's futuristic aesthetic is completed with an unusual diagonal lacing system and bulbous sole panels. It's been quite the design evolution with basketball sneakers, the Air Jordan Future arrives June 21 at Nike’s online store.

For next year, Nike will continue to push the boundaries by way of the Nike Air Max 2015. I love the daring branding of "Air Max" on the side and the reverse swoosh. Nike is preparing to launch the latest version of its extremely popular Nike Air Max. Engineered mesh upper with their Flywire technology locking-down lockdown support. The Nike Air Max 2015 will be available before the end of the year with a suggested retail price of $180-190 USD.

Nike Free Orbit II SP

Designed by Nathan VanHook, the same Nike designer that was responsible for the Nike Air Yeezy 2. This Nike has style to it and is quite versatile, especially for summer. Nike black tech-fabric Free Orbit II SP low-top sneakers styled throughout with raised geometric pyramid stud pattern. A mesh panel cutout provides ventilation to the toes and forefoot, while all of the features rest atop a Free 5.0 outsole. These are already hard to find at the higher than normal Nike price point.

Nike + Pigalle's PPP Collection

Nike has partnered with Pigalle, for yet another collaboration we see so much of, but this particular one looks good, simple and authentic. Pigalle, also known as the Pain O Chokolat crew with Nike created the PPP collection. Reworks of the iconic Nike Air Force 1 Hi and Lo, two tanks, two pairs of shorts, a basketball, and a hat. The pieces combine sport heritage and style, with details specific to the crew’s taste and direction. Founding member of the PPP crew, Stéphane Ashpool, explains,

“We cut the bottom of the short for a handmade old-school look. These pieces are made to be comfy. It’s based on what we wear.”

Look for special tie-dye treatments to create fades and deliberate distressing. Very nice.
